Egg with Marmite Soldiers
The perfect winter brekkie for exploring energy!
1 December 2015 / Recipes
2 slices Vogel’s Sunflower and Barley loaf
Enough marmite to cover two slices of toast
Boil two perfectly runny eggs. We have it on good authority that the best way to do this is to bring the water up to boiling point, bring it to a simmer and put on a timer for 6 minutes. This will ensure that perfect squidgy centre for dipping in your marmite soldiers.
Whilst your eggs are simmering away, pop in two slices of Sunflower and Barley. Slather as much (or as little) marmite as you fancy.
When the 6 minutes are up, its imperative you cool them rapidly under cold running water. Pop them in two fabulous eggcups and take off their tops. Slice up your Vogel’s toast and dip away!
