Ancient Grains: We’re sure Alfred Vogel would welcome this reconnection with a healthier, tastier past. We’ve selected Teff, Amaranth and Quinoa and added them to kibbled soya & barley, so every delicious tasty bite is crammed to bursting with flavour from these nutritious ancient grains. It’s been a while since toast and sandwiches tasted this good!

Where to Buy

Fortified Wheat Flour
Fortified Wheat Flour

It’s a UK legal requirement to use ‘Fortified Wheat’. But don’t worry, ‘Niacin’ and ‘Thiamin’ might sound strange, but they’re naturally occurring nutrients that are beneficial for health.

Kibbled Soya
Kibbled Soya

Soya is high in ‘good’ fat and packed with protein. Kibbling (crushing, rather than grinding), retains its natural, nutty texture.

Kibbled Barley
Kibbled Barley

Chopped rather than milled, our barley tastes wonderful and rewards every crunchy, chewy mouthful.

Botanists suggest Teff was eaten from as early as 4,000 BC. It has an intriguingly mild, nutty flavour and packs a serious nutritional punch.

Amaranth means ‘everlasting’ in Greek. A staple food of the Aztecs, Amaranth grain has an earthy, nutty flavour and is super nutritious.

Red quinoa seeds

Quinoa fuelled the Inca Empire from around 1200 AD, now it’s your turn. Red quinoa is the most flavourful variety.
